Forecast App Reviews
Nice App
Nice app, it would be great if we could choose the displayed color…maybe in the next update?
No Celcius!
There’s no ability to change from Farenheit to Celcius!
Great but Room for Improvement
Nice features with room for improvement (see my previous review), but null bug still exists.
one little thing to fix
really cant get it to stop saying null? really nice except for that and you cant customize colors. please fix the null issue.
Great little app, and I love anything that’s accessable from the menu bar!! But PLEASE, ad one little preference - to create a keyboard shortcut to open the app without having to mouse up to the menu bar. As much as I love menu bar apps, I hate using the mouse :). Otherwise, great app!! Thanks.
This is an occassional bug that keeps happening to me. The app will display the current day’s weather, then in the four-day display at the bottom, it will skip tomorrow. For example, I see Tuesday’s (today) weather, then at the bottom I see Thurs - Sunday.
The app seems to work better on OSX 10.10 than it was on 10.9. Maybe it’s because I reinstalled the app, who knows. I love how clean this weather app is, gives me a great weekly outlook with a nice, simple format. The app has a minor bug where the forecasted weather for the next few days will *skip* tomorrow in the list after the current time of the day passes 6pm. Maybe this is due to my location relative to UTC? Since my location is -6 hours (Mountain Time).
Like others have mentioned, the forecast skips tomorrow’s weather. This needs to be fixed. Otherwise it is a nice way to quickly glance at the current temperature right on your Mac menubar.
Doesn’t work very well
Had to restart to get it to work and it still wouldn’t load consistently. Deleted.
Now that they’ve added the temperature in the menu bar, the app is excellent. Thanks! Although, sometimes the temperature listed in the menu bar doesn’t match the temperature listed in the pop down window. Weird. But what’s that old saying? Give someone a weather app and they’re satisfied. Give someone 5 weather apps and they’re suspicious.
